Hi DynDNS,

I've mentioned it before at the tail of another post, but thought it may deserve it's own thread.

I've confirmed that 216.146.35.35 over the course of a day or so reverts back to showing the landing page rather than offering pure NXDomain response.

This has happened at a couple of locations for me a couple of times now. One location has a static IP address, the other a dynamic IP address which uses dyndns to update.

Regards,
Isaac.

Make sure to tell DynDNS directly since this is a user to user forum and staff don't always read the threads.

Hi
I'm having strange issues on Windows 7 Pro.

I travel and use hotel WiFi
But I find every time I try to use WiFi the DNS in the Wireless connection gets changed to 216.146.35.35.
I have to manually go into Network Settings and change it back to "Obtain DNS Server Automatically"
It is a good job I know how to do this.
Most people would not have a clue.
ttfn
Derek

So, presumably you have the updater installed?

Have you tried disabling the use of Internet Guide? This is covered in their documentation and in various posts here - I'm happy to point you to the relevant information if you can't find it (but please don't make multiple, identical, posts).
