I am a experienced user but new to Dyndns so looking for some clarification please

I have 1 router and 3 webcameras. All 4 on different ports. All working fine.
I have setup a dyn hostname to my ip address and everything is working as:

testing1.dyndns.com:80
testing1.dyndns.com:8100
testing1.dyndns.com:8101
testing1.dyndns.com:8102

My questions are:

1) I have added a dyndns hostname example (testing1.dyndns.com) to my router and camera interfaces.
I can't see any config to specify how often each connects to dyndns to confirm/update the ip address. Would having 4 devices updating at the same time cause any problem to dyndns?

2) Since i have 30 hostnames to use why can you not specific the port in dyndns so for example testing1.dyndns.com would go straight to testing1.dyndns.com:8100 ?

Thanks in advance for any help

1) Yes, this is a problem, because it sounds you have at least five DDNS Update Clients activated to update one hostname. Your hostname will soon be deactivated due to abusive updates. You must run only one Update Client against a hostname at any one time. So deactivate all but one.

2) You can use webhops, e.g.
Code:
testing2.dyndns.com  -->  http://testing1.dyndns.com:8100/
testing3.dyndns.com  -->  http://testing1.dyndns.com:8101/
testing4.dyndns.com  -->  http://testing1.dyndns.com:8102/
...and so forth...
(Don't forget the trailing slashes!)

RB thanks for the answers and taking the time to reply. Much appreciated.

Regarding the webhops. When i select:

WebHop Redirect (URL forwarding service)
and enter
http://testing1.dyndns.com:8100/

I get error mesage:

"You cannot create cyclic redirects, such as host.domain.com to host.domain.com:8080. Please use a different destination host."

Any idea what could be wrong?

As I have shown in the examples, "You cannot create cyclic redirects, such as host.domain.com to host.domain.com:8080. Please use a different destination host."

You must use a different hostname for the webhop and for the destination hostname. I.e. you create new hostnames pointing to your current hostname and related port.
