Hi,

I have a netgear wgt624 wireless router.
I have setup DVR with local Ip of 192.168.0.3
I have setup a DDNS account with dyndns
Ihave added the details to the DVR config
DVR port is port:80
Ived used the PORT FORWARDING feaute to send port 80 to the DVRs local IP.
I have put the DVR IP as being the DMZ server as well.

I can access the DVR locally ( as no port forwarding is used)
When trying to acccess from the web, I get the active X propmts, I install the client and then get the login prompt.
Once I enter the credentials, all i get is:
"connection Failed (2)
Reason (-3) no Stream Timeout"

SO what am I doing wrong ???

That you're getting ActiveX prompts suggests to me that you've reached the DVR. I wonder if the software embeds the LAN IP in the configuration or if it uses other IP addresses.

What is the make, model and version number of the DVR?

HI,
The DVR model is Raysharp D6209 ( 9 ch).

The only options in the NETWORK section of the DVR are
MAC address :
Static/Dynamic IP (static)
Ip address (192.168.0.3)
Subnet (255.2552.55.0_
Gateway (routers address)
DNS1 (routers address)
DNS1
HTTP port (80)
DDNS (setup with DYNDNS)

I'd start by talking to their support facility.
